Sami joins their very first production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and adapted by Tom Haas. She can be seen as Belle, Martha Cratchit, Grace, Charwoman, and several other roles. The show runs on the mainstage at Indiana Repertory Theatre and is directed by cara hinh.

Hello Kitty Must Die

Sami is leading the brand new musical, Hello Kitty Must Die, as Fiona Yu: a high achieving corporate lawyer fed up with the stereotypes forced onto her by a white, patriarchal society. Based on the cult novel by Angela S. Choi, the musical is a combination of sex, violence, and stiletto heels. The show will perform at Pleasance 2 in the Pleasance Courtyard at Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland.

Sami is returning to musical theatre in Jonathan Larsen's, RENT, as Alexi Darling/Mrs. Jefferson/Others and Joanne Jefferson's understudy. The show is directed by Zi Alikhan, choreographed by Steph Paul, and music directed by Amanda Morton. It will run on the main stage of Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. *Sami performed as Joanne Jefferson for four performances during the run.*

The Chinese Lady
@ Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park
Sami will reprise her role as Afong Moy in Lloyd Suh's, The Chinese Lady. The play is inspired by the true story of the first Chinese woman to step foot in America at age 14 as she becomes a living exhibition for the American people throughout the course of her life. The show is directed by Jess McLeod and will play in the historic Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
