a queer, gender fluid child of Chinese immigrants navigating the messy & exciting terrain between their traditional Chinese culture and über-American upbringing. sami is a performer, traveler, hiker, star gazer, celtics fan, big time food lover, noodle slurper, horse girl, studio ghibli nerd, and an avid bookworm. sami is continuously in pursuit of her familial & cultural history/identity and how it intersects with activism & politics. everything  is dedicated to and colored by their beautiful family, ancestors, and guardian angels.
